Dr. Aguirre is a member of the Society of American Indian Dentists (S.A.I.D.) who has practiced dentistry in tribal clinics since graduating from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of dentistry in 2016. She is a recipient of the Henry Sutro Award and a two time Udall Scholar. She enjoys mentoring and advocating for higher education of American Indian youth. She hopes to improve access to high quality oral health care in underserved populations through staying active in the Diverse Dental Society and the S.A.I.D. organizations. Her goal as a member of the education committee is to provide resources and information to future aspiring dentists to learn more about how to becoming an oral health provider.
